Stabbing Victim In Break-In Identified

Police have identified the man who was stabbed to death Sunday as Shane Lee Walker.

A teenage boy killed Walker, 33, as the Spokane man tried forcing his way into an apartment in the 1600 block of West 10th about 3 a.m., police said.

An autopsy is scheduled today.

Detectives continued investigating the homicide Monday but made no arrests.

A woman who lives in the apartment had a domestic violence protection order against Walker, who had 17 criminal convictions, including two for rape and one for robbery, police said. , DataTimes
