Kirkland Couple Dies In Rollover

A Kirkland, Wash., couple was killed Sunday when their vehicle rolled over on Interstate 90 about 15 miles west of Ritzville, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Brantley C. Bates, 41, and Carrie L. Bates, 34, died at the scene of the accident, the state patrol reported.

The Bates’ 1994 Chevrolet Blazer was westbound on I-90 about 5 a.m. when it drifted onto the median, rolled several times, and came to rest on its roof, troopers said.
