Three Jailed After Raid At Lakefront Home Yields Drugs
Three people were in the Bonner County Jail after a raid at a rented home along Lake Pend Oreille turned up dozens of nearly mature marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia.
A package of 30 marijuana-growing starter kits that the Idaho suspects allegedly sent to New York state also resulted in the arrest of the man who received the shipment there, authorities said Wednesday.
Nina Jennifer Bolibok, 21, Ezra Zygmuntowicz, 22, and Seth William Gundersheim, 20, were arrested after a shipping clerk tipped drug agents to a suspicious package on Tuesday.
Bonner County Sheriff’s Detective Harvey Thompson said the clerk was told by one of the suspects that the shipment was a stereo. But the clerk became suspicious because of the parcel’s light weight.
Drug agents from the sheriff’s office and local police inspected the package and found the starter kits. Agents then sent the package on its way and alerted New York State Police in Ithaca.
Investigators there arrested Dagan R. Lynn, 20, of Dryden, N.Y., on a charge of criminal possession of marijuana.
After the New York bust, officers raided the Lake Pend Oreille home on the west side of the Hope Peninsula. They found 47 nearly mature marijuana plants in a walk-in closet, as well as a large number of glass marijuana pipes and more blown-glass bongs under construction.
Bonner County Deputy Prosecutor Todd Reed said the suspects moved into the waterfront home from New York in December.
