Laura Hindman Named Lilac Princess

The third of 12 Lilac princesses was chosen Monday.

Laura Hindman, a Northwest Christian senior, competed with five other girls to be chosen to represent her school.

Hindman, 18, is involved in varsity softball, student government and plans to attend Washington State University to study medicine or psychology.

She is the daughter of Keith and Mary Hindman.

Once the princesses are chosen, one will be chosen queen at Shadle Park High School during a ceremony at 7 p.m. April 13.
