Big East Title To Connecticut

Kara Wolters scored 28 points and the second-ranked Connecticut Huskies held No. 22 Notre Dame to one field goal in the final 12 minutes to capture the Big East women’s championship with a 71-54 defeat of the Irish.

The title also gave the Huskies a spot in the NCAA postseason tournament.
