Birding For Bucks

Area members of the National Audubon Society are planning birdwatching marathons on June 1 to raise money for maintaining wildlife habitat, including the Dishman Hills Natural Area. Teams will head to Mount Spokane, Little Spokane River, Dishman Hills and Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. The birders are seeking sponsors to pledge cash for each bird species spotted.
