Idaho won a straight-sets volleyball match over New Mexico State 15-10, 15-6, 15-8 Saturday in Big West Conference action at Memorial Gym in Moscow.

Jessica Moore paced the Vandals with 10 blocks and seven kills. Teammate Kyle Leonard added nine kills and five digs.

Idaho improves to (10-2, 21-4), while NMSU drops to (2-10, 6-22).

Eastern Washington started quickly, then held off Northern Arizona to post a 15-12, 15-7, 14-16, 8-15, 15-13 Big Sky Conference victory at Flagstaff, Ariz.

Lynn Robison had 19 kills and 18 digs to lead the Eagles (12-11, 5-7). Kim Exner added 17 kills, followed by Lora Botha with 16.

Gonzaga University defeated Pepperdine University 12-15, 15-12, 15-7, 15-4 in West Coast Conference action at Martin Centre. Gonzaga lost to the Waves earlier this season.

The Kubista twins, Jennifer and Christy, teamed for 36 kills and 29 digs to pace the Bulldogs.

Katie Jo Borgmann had five kills and 20 digs to lead Whitworth to a 16-14, 6-15, 15-13, 13-15, 15-10 Northwest Conference of Independent Colleges win over Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

Mandy Decious and Renee Williams each added nine kills and 15 digs for the Pirates (8-18).
