Irma Bannen Spokane

Memorial service for Irma D. Bannen will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bannen, 92, died Tuesday. She was born in Washington.

She had lived in Spokane for 30 years and taught classes at Kinman Business University. She also taught for the Central Valley School District. She retired in the late 1960s.

She was a member of Chapter DR Order of the Eastern Star in the Spokane Valley.

Her husband, George Bannen, preceded her in death.

She is survived by three nephews, Gregory Forsyth of Spokane, Scott Forsyth of San Francisco and John Forsyth of Sacramento, Calif., and a niece, Jill Forsyth Harms of Spokane.

Roger Cook Deer Park

No service will be held for Roger Thomas Cook. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of cremation.

Mr. Cook, 47, died Thursday.

He was born in Lincoln, Neb.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and had worked as a welder.

He moved to Spokane 10 years ago from Jamestown, Colo.

He is survived by a daughter, Cari Lynn Cook of Valley, Wash.; his parents, Harold and Erlene Cook of Lincoln, Neb., and a sister, Sandra Aguilar of Palmyra, Neb.
