Police Seek Help In Homicide Case

Police need help solving the case of a woman found dead in a downtown alley last week.

The body of Joann Flores, 32, was discovered Thursday morning by a pedestrian on her way to work.

Flores was lying face-up on a garbage-strewn concrete pad behind the former Mother’s Pub, 230 W. Riverside. Detectives think she died late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Police have not said how she was killed, and detectives have no suspects in the case.

Anyone who saw Flores with someone Wednesday night or knows where she was before her death should call the major crimes unit, 635-4210.
