Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier will play the first men’s professional tennis event in six years at Madison Square Garden with a one-night exhibition next month.

The round-robin “Nike Cup” Dec. 20 will benefit the Tim and Tom Gullikson Foundation to help brain cancer patients and their families. None of the players is being paid for the exhibition.
