Pba Leaders Hold Fast

Walter Ray Williams Jr. and Liz Johnson held their leads after the second round of match play at the combined U.S. Opens of the Pro Bowlers Association.

Williams, from Stockton, Calif., was 7-9 in match play but still held a 131-pin lead among the men. Johnson, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., had a 12-pin advantage on Marianne DiRupo heading into the final round of women’s match play.
