Some Closed For Columbus Day

You can take out your garbage, but not pick up your mail on Monday, the official federal observance of Columbus Day.

Waste Management Inc. will be running its regular schedule of garbage collection. All post offices will be closed.

Coeur d’Alene city offices are closed as are Kootenai County offices. Idaho state liquor stores remain open but most banks are closed.

All North Idaho school districts will be holding classes.
