Feds, Banks Close For Columbus Day

By From Staff And Wire Reports

Monday’s observance of Columbus Day will close federal offices and most banks. In addition, there will be no mail delivery.

Just about everywhere else, though, it’ll be business as usual.

Kids from kindergarten to college will be in school, and city and county offices will be open.

Spokane Transit Authority buses will make their normal rounds. City and county libraries will operate during their regular hours. Even the garbage will get picked up.
