Houston Picks First

The Houston Comets will pick first in the inaugural WNBA draft after winning the draft lottery.

The Comets will make the first pick in the April 28 draft for the new women’s professional basketball league. The draft will have four rounds, with the order reversed for the second and fourth rounds.

The selection order following Houston in the first round will be the Sacramento Monarchs, Los Angeles Sparks, Cleveland Rockers, Utah Starzz, New York Liberty, Charlotte Sting and Phoenix Mercury.
