Shrine Offers Health Screening For Kids

The Spokane Valley Shrine Club is offering a free screening clinic for children next Saturday at Valley Hospital and Medical Center.

Doctors at the clinic will help determine if the children are eligible for treatment at the Shriners Hospital and Outpatient Clinics.

The Shriners care for a wide variety of orthopedic and scar problems including scoliosis, club feet, cerebral palsy, burn scars or facial birth marks.

Children will need their birth certificates, immunization records and custody papers in order to be screened.

The screening clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Hospital, 12606 E. Mission. For more information, call El Katif Shrine Temple at 624-2762.
