Plastic Surgeon Faces Child Porn Charge

A Kirkland plastic surgeon, already accused of rape and assault in an alleged attack on an anesthetized patient, now faces additional charges.

Gregory Alan Johnson, 46, was charged Monday with two counts of indecent liberties and one count of possession of child pornography. He was charged with second-degree rape and assault in March and is being held in lieu of $750,000 bail.

The indecent-liberties charges concern alleged actions involving two women who had come to Johnson for breast implants. Police searching his home computer found 2,000 hard-core pornographic pictures stored on a disk. About 30 involved minors between 5 and 15 years old, charging papers said.

The investigation continues and it is too soon to say whether additional charges will be filed against Johnson, said spokesman Dan Donohoe in the King County prosecutor’s office.

Since Johnson’s March 14 arrest, more than 30 complaints have been made to police about him. His medical license was suspended last month by the state Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
