‘Person Of Interest’ Investigated In Slaying

Spokane County sheriff’s detectives said Thursday they have identified “a person of interest” in the slaying of a 75-year-old Otis Orchards man.

Capt. Doug Silver said in a written statement that the person “is not a family member but may have been an acquaintance of the victim.”

No other details were released.

Henry R. Heid, a longtime resident of Otis Orchards, was found dead in his garage on April 9. An autopsy indicated he had died from blows to the head. , DataTimes
