Stallings Remains Hospitalized

Former Alabama football coach Gene Stallings, 62, remained hospitalized Monday after he was trampled by three horses on his ranch.

He was listed in good condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center in Paris, Texas, after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured hip Sunday.

Jason Tucker, Texas Christian’s second-leading receiver last season with 39 catches, was removed from the team for an unspecified rules violation.
