Thomas Stoeser Earns National Accreditation

Thomas Stoeser, chief financial officer of Jacklin Seed Co. and a 12-year employee of the company, has been accredited as a certified valuation analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuations Analysts.

Stoeserhad met criteria that included becoming a certified public accountant, training and testing, and meeting the requirements for good standing of the state CPA Society or the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is one of 1,600 members of the association.

Tina Arendt was recently certified by the Australian Tourist Commission as an expert travel counselor for visits to Australia.

Arendt, of Travel Management Inc. of Coeur d’Alene, received her certification by completing an examination and training program.

Jessica M. Baker, Athol, has been named to the Dean’s List at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

Baker, a sophomore and daughter of Brent and Sonoma Baker of Athol, maintained a grade-point average of B or higher during the semester for a minimum quality point ratio of 3.2.

A 1995 Sandpoint High School graduate, Baker was a member of the water skiing and alpine teams that year. She participated in Peaks Day 1995 and the 75th anniversary of the Bates Outing Club.
