Ramp Work May Slow Boating At Farragut

From Staff And Wire Reports

Construction at the Farragut State Park boat ramp could interfere with launching this spring.

Adair Construction crews will be improving the boat launch area between April 21 and June 15.

The improvements include enlarging the parking lots by 20 spaces, improving traffic flow and striping the pavement.

The $212,000 project is funded by a Waterways Improvement Grant and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation.

The ramp will be open, but boaters should expect some delays, especially during peak hours, 4 to 7 p.m.

Anglers participating in the K and K Fishing Derby, April 26 through May 4, may want to use boat ramps in Bayview or Sandpoint.

Daily construction information will be available on the park’s automated phone system. Call (208) 683-2425. , DataTimes MEMO: Cut in Spokane edition
