Fire Destroys Old Farmhouse

It took a dozen firefighters more than an hour to put out a blaze that destroyed an abandoned farmhouse Friday night.

No one was injured, dispatchers said. The house, located on the corner of 43rd and Locust in the Spokane Valley, was engulfed in flames by the time units arrived at about 9:30 p.m.
