Nursing Home Can Admit Patients

The state Department of Social and Health Services has allowed a Spokane Valley nursing home to resume admitting new residents.

The Sullivan Park Care Center, 14820 E. Fourth, was banned from taking any new residents after being cited for state and federal care regulations in January.

DSHS lifted the ban this month.

The department ruled that the home had been deficient in its quality of care to some of its 125 residents. , DataTimes
