For a host of ideas on water features, raised bed vegetable gardens, roses, perennials, annuals or interesting garden features such as gazebos, arbors, bird houses, trellises and more, don’t miss the twelfth annual Associated Garden Clubs of Spokane’s showcase of gardens.
Sunday’s tour runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and features six gardens on the north side - three in the East Mission area, two in Legacy Hills of Highway 395 and one in the Whitworth area.
The East Mission gardens are located at 1930 E. Marshall; 2411 E. Nora; and 2425 E. Nora. The Whitworth yard is located at 625 W. Graves Road; and the Legacy Hills yards can be found at 16313 N. Pittsburg Lane and 1521 E. Hampton Lane.
The tour costs $3; children under 14 attend free of charge. Proceeds will be donated to horticulture projects in Spokane. For further information, call 325-0575 or 838-1275.
