Woman Kills Man With Kitchen Knife

From Staff And Wire Reports

A woman walked up behind a man on a sidewalk Friday and stabbed him with a large kitchen knife, then she walked less than a half-block farther and fatally stabbed a man mowing grass, police said.

A passer-by saw the second stabbing, stopped his car, talked the woman into dropping the knife and then tackled her, holding her until police arrived, Senior Officer John Cameron said.

The woman, about 40, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree murder and attempted murder, Cameron said.
