Idaho Independent Bank Pays Dividend

Idaho Independent Bank, which has offices in Coeur d’Alene, Hayden Lake and Boise, said Wednesday it would pay a 10 percent stock dividend to shareholders because of higher earnings.

The bank’s net earnings increased to $278,000 through June 30, compared with $188,000 for the first six months of 1996.

The stock dividend will be payable to shareholders who held stock as of July 21. Certificates will be mailed Sept. 4.

Idaho Independent Bank’s assets doubled from nearly $41 million through June 30, 1996, to $85 million during the first six months this year.

The bank’s total loans were $52.7 million, up 83 percent from the same period last year. , DataTimes
