Pistons Make Room To Sign Hunter
The Detroit Pistons re-signed guard Lindsey Hunter to a multi-year contract Friday, one day after freeing up money under the salary cap by trading power forward Otis Thorpe to Vancouver for a conditional first-round draft pick.
Hunter emerged as a key player for the Pistons last season as his average went from 8.5 points to 14.2 points and his minutes increased by 10 a game to 36.9.
