Boundary Review Board of Spokane County

The board will hear updates about the county’s growth management planning and the Spokane Horizons program.

Spokane Hearing Examiner

Tuesday, 9 a.m. regular meeting, second-floor conference room

At 9 a.m., the hearing examiner will consider a proposal to redevelop property at 6217 and 6227 N. Division St. At 10:30 a.m., the examiner will hear plans for a 19,600-square-foot retail building and attached 5,160-square-foot retail store on property bounded by Atlantic and Division streets, Dalke and Francis avenues.

Spokane County Hearing Examiner

Wednesday, public works building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.

9 a.m., consideration of James Knight’s request for a conditional-use permit to start a contractor’s yard at 29308 N. Cedar Road.

10:30 a.m., consideration of a zone change to allow construction of 82 independent- and assisted-living apartment units on 3.8 acres near the intersection of Mead and Farwell roads.

1:30 p.m., deciding whether Meridian Land Co. must complete an environmental impact statement before subdividing 63 acres in Greenacres into 158 residential lots. The site is west of Barker Road, about a quarter-mile south of Eighth Avenue.

The commission will consider “development themes” being drafted by the Spokane Horizons group.
