Bellevue Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A 53-year-old Bellevue, Wash., man died Friday morning in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 90 near Wallace.

Kenneth Lee Von Cleve lost control of the motorcycle when the rear tire blew out, said Shoshone County sheriff’s Capt. Spike Angle. The 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle rolled, killing Von Cleve.

Noelle Kaluna, 32, who was riding with Von Cleve, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Silver Valley Medical Center in Silverton. Her condition was not available, a sheriff’s department dispatcher said.

The accident happened about 10:50 a.m. and slowed westbound traffic about a mile east of Wallace.

Von Cleve was not wearing a helmet and it was not known whether Kaluna was wearing one.
