Two Quarters Earn Woman $1.6 Million

A Washington state woman won a $1.6 million progressive slot jackpot Saturday at the Eldorado Hotel Casino here.

Tory Duncan, 25, of Pe Ell, played just two quarters before hitting the IGT Quartermania MegaJackpot.

After realizing “that I had won the big one … I began shaking and perspiring,” she said.

She said she and her husband, Jeff, a lumberjack, would use the winnings to pay for their home and for the education of their two children.

All IGT progressive jackpots are paid in annual installments.
