George Burns Is Back In The Movies

The Boston Globe

George Burns died last year at the age of 100. But aided by computer magic and the voice of Frank Gorshin, Burns will headline a new movie called “Everything’s George.”

In the comedy, he’ll play an angel who returns to Earth to earn his wings.

To re-create Burns, the filmmakers will make a clay model of his head, scan it into a computer, then use the movements of an actor to animate the model - or something like that. The process is known as motion capture.
