Minera Andes To Seek Listing On Nasdaq

Vancouver-based Minera Andes Inc. said it has been registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The junior mining company, which has offices in Spokane, is currently traded on the Alberta Stock Exchange and will seek a listing on the NASDAQ over-the-counter market.

President Allen Ambrose said the move was part of the small company’s expansion. An American listing will broaden Minera’s options of investors. Currently most of its market is in Canada, Ambrose said.

Minera has 19.1 million total common shares. It will retain its listing on the Alberta Stock Exchange. , DataTimes
