Gospel Jamboree To Offer Concert, Party

The Spokane Gospel Jamboree will conduct its annual Labor Day Concert and Block Party from noon to 7 p.m. Monday.

The free event, featuring local bands, will be at the Big Gospel Tent, 3701 N. Market.

A time for women to heal

The Dorcas Ministry of Spokane will present “Go in Peace,” a nurturing and healing program for women, Sept. 27.

Speakers at the program, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ridgeview Christian Center, 5610 N. Ash, will include the Rev. Cynthia Steele, Edie Sevy and Mary McDowell.

Cost is $10, and seating is limited. A low-cost luncheon will be available.
