Writer Of Idaho Song To Sing At City Park

On Sunday, the bandshell at Coeur d’Alene City Park will come alive with the sound of music one last time this season.

A Summer’s End Concert with a live performance by Don Rodgers, writer of Idaho’s official centennial song, “Idaho - My State of Mind,” will be from noon to 8 p.m.

Rodgers will perform hits from the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, as well as popular and gospel Elvis Presley hits. D.A.R.E. officer Mark Knapp also will be on hand.
