Reign Drops Another One To Portland

DeLisha Milton hit a 15-foot jump shot with 58 seconds left in the second overtime Sunday to put Portland ahead for good as the Power capped a two-night sweep of the Seattle Reign with a 75-69 victory at Seattle.

Milton finished with 15 points, one shy of her career best, and Natalie Williams added a team-high 24 points and 12 rebounds for Portland. Williams scored 24 points and had 10 rebounds in Saturday night’s win in Portland.

The Reign (6-17), which lost their sixth straight game, were led by Val Whiting’s 24 points.

Griffith’s free throw during a 5-0 spurt gave the StingRays a 73-66 edge with 1:55 left.
