Remains Identified As Those Of Boater

From Staff And Wire Reports

Human remains found by a man walking his dog near McNary Dam have been identified as those of a Walla Walla man missing since a boat accident in September, a Benton County official said Monday.

The remains found Sunday on the north bank of the Columbia River, about 2 miles upstream from the dam, are those of Miles Brent Madison, 36, Undersheriff Bill Morey said.

Madison had been missing since Sept. 6, when the boat he was in collided with a barge near McNary Dam.
