Bill Graffis had 20 points Wednesday and Tekoa-Oakesdale struck back at Colton for extending the Whitman County League boys basketball season by storming the Wildcats 67-38 in a playoff.
Colton beat T-O 46-43 last Saturday to create a three-way tie for fourth place in league standings. Rosalia topped Colton on Tuesday to win the fourth seed to the league tournament. Wednesday’s decision gave T-O the No. 5 and Colton the No. 6.
The tourney begins Friday at Endicott with loser-out games. Colton (6-16) meets No. 3 St. John-Endicott (7-13) at 6, followed by T-O (7-14) against Rosalia (6-13) at 7:30.
