Dexter King made a formal appeal Thursday on behalf of the family of the slain civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., saying a trial for James Earl Ray, the confessed assassin, is the only way the truth will ever be known.

‘Silence is betrayal. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.’ The King family is now becoming part of the solution.”
