Nic Basketball Teams Move Up To 13th, 14th

NIC’s men (23-3 overall, 13-3 Scenic West) took one step up to No. 13 in the latest NJCAA rankings. CoSWAC leader College of Eastern Utah (24-4, 13-3) is No. 16.

NIC plays at Salt Lake (21-7, 9-7) on Friday and Utah Valley (22-6, 11-5) on Saturday. CEU visits Snow (20-8, 8-8) and Dixie (15-13, 8-8).

NIC’s women (24-2, 14-2) also improved one notch, to No. 14. The Cards face Salt Lake (21-7, 13-3) and Utah Valley (22-6, 13-3). Salt Lake is rated No. 25.

NIC women’s coach Greg Crimp said he believes his team needs one win on the trip to get the top seed.
