Cardinals’ Rally Comes Up Short

Area women’s basketball

North Idaho rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit to tie the game with 4 minutes remaining before falling 71-65 to Ricks College in a Scenic West Athletic Conference battle Friday night in Rexburg, Idaho.

North Idaho and Ricks are now tied for first place in conference play.

Shawna Rainer led North Idaho with 17 points and nine rebounds and Angie Dickson scored 15.
