Chamique Holdsclaw scored 22 points Sunday to lead No. 8 Tennessee to a 63-60 victory over No. 4 Alabama, snapping the Crimson ide’s school-record 14-game winning streak.
The win was Tennessee’s (14-7, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) 17th straight over Alabama (16-3, 5-1).
Alabama led throughout the first half and held a 37-32 lead at halftime. Tennessee didn’t take its first lead until 52-51 with 5-1/2 minutes remaining.
