Teenager Dies In Fall From Cliff

By From Staff And Wire Reports

A teenager died after falling off a 50-foot cliff near Game Farm Park, authorities said.

The victim was identified as Heikel “Andrew” Greiner, 15, of Auburn.

Greiner was with four other teens who were partying at the site Monday night, Auburn police said.

Four of the youths left and Greiner remained.

One of the teens later returned and heard Greiner’s cries for help.

The teen found a rope and went down to get Greiner. The rope broke, and Greiner fell to his death. The friend pulled himself out and called 911, police said.

A King County search-and-rescue helicopter spotted Greiner’s body in about 1 foot of water along the White River at the base of the cliff. A dive team recovered the body Tuesday morning.
