Harris Named To Usa Team

USA Basketball named Los Angeles Lakers head coach Del Harris and two college coaches assistants for the 1998 national team. The Houston Rockets’ Rudy Tomjanovich was named coach April 24.

The team will compete in the 1998 FIBA World Championships of Basketball in Athens from July 29-Aug. 9.

Also named were George Washington University coach Mike Jarvis and University of Illinois coach Lon Kruger.
