Rogue Readers Will Appear At Auntie’s Bookstore Tonight

The Rogue Readers will once again appear at Auntie’s Bookstore to do their popular readings of poetry and stories.

The group - an offshoot of the Rogue Players, a local independent drama group - will perform at 7:30 tonight. The performance is free.

The theme of the evening centers on the celebration of the Fourth of July. Group members will read selections ranging from the humorous to the serious and perform songs.

“Entertaining is the best overall word, I guess,” says Mitch Finley of Auntie’s. “The musical portion of the evening is always a big hit.”

This is the group’s fourth appearance at Auntie’s this year, and they routinely get standing ovations at the end of each performance, says Finley.
