City Council Won’t Meet Tonight

Too many vacationing Spokane City Council members means there won’t be a meeting tonight.

Mayor Jack Geraghty said several of his colleagues - himself included - are extending their holiday week end into a four-day break.

Council members will meet again July 14. At that time, they’ll consider allowing low-density housing to be built on 46 acres at the northwest corner of Crestline Street and Lincoln Road, an area currently slated for industrial uses. , DataTimes
