Skrudland Going To Rangers
Brian Skrudland will make it official today. Skrudland, the Panthers’ only captain in their four seasons, will sign a three-year contract with the New York Rangers worth more than $5 million.
A center known for his tenacious, defensive style as well as leadership on and off the ice, Skrudland had made it clear he preferred to remain a Panther.
The Los Angeles Kings have signed Buffalo Sabres defenseman Garry Galley, who began his career with the Kings more than a decade ago.
Galley, 34, was an unrestricted free agent and agreed to a three-year deal. Galley is in his 13th NHL season. He was the Kings’ fourth pick in 1983, and played his first 2-1/2 seasons with Los Angeles.
