Body Identified, But No Cause Of Death

From Staff Reports

A body discovered Sunday in Latah Creek has been identified through dental records as that of a 16-year-old Spokane Valley boy missing since February.

But an autopsy Monday failed to reveal what caused the death of Adam Seth Crane, whose near-skeletal remains were spotted about 5:45 p.m.

Saturday by people inner-tubing down the creek, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department.

The boy had been missing since Feb. 6 from his home in the 400 block of South Eastern. He was originally reported as a runaway and was considered a missing person after not returning home by Feb. 18, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Anyone with information about Crane should call Crime Check at 456-2233.
