With “techno” music blaring over loudspeakers, hundreds of thousands of youthful revelers danced their way through Berlin in the annual Love Parade on Saturday.
The ninth annual celebration of electronic dance music known as techno brought enthusiasts from across Germany and abroad.
Police estimated the early attendance at 350,000 people, with the surging crowd steadily growing.
The Love Parade began in 1989 with about 150 people dancing behind a Volkswagen.
