Suspected Smuggler Hid Heroin Under His Bandages

Police seized a man hiding 11 pounds of heroin on his heavily bandaged body Sunday as he was trying to board a flight to Paris, Pakistan’s official news agency reported.

Mohammed Bilal told police at the airport he was recovering from an operation and asked them to skip a routine body search.

But authorities became suspicious and searched him, finding the contraband stashed inside the bandages and a diaper Bilal was wearing, the agency reported.
