Toddler Injured In Valley Car Wreck
A Spokane toddler remained in critical condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center late Wednesday after a two-car accident in the Valley.
Jessie Ayers, 3, suffered internal injuries when a car driven by Amy Reopelle, 23, of Spokane was hit when she attempted to cross Sprague Avenue.
Reopelle was northbound on Flora Road about 6 p.m.
Wednesday when a vehicle westbound on Sprague, driven by Russel Barfuss, 34, of Spokane, hit her car. He was not injured. But a passenger, 11-year-old Tersha Barfuss, was treated for minor injuries as was Reopelle.
