Group Holds Bicycle Rodeo To Teach Safety, Skills

Cowboys will try to stay on bicycles at the rodeo the Kootenai County Injury Prevention Coalition is staging at Borah Elementary today at 9:30 a.m.

Kids ages 5 to 9 will learn bike safety while maneuvering through an eight-station obstacle course.

Jordan Keough from Lookout Bike and Ski will inspect bikes. The Panhandle Health District and Safe Kids of Kootenai County will provide helmets.

Kids will learn to balance bikes, steer, brake, control speed and care for their equipment. , DataTimes
